The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released a recruitment
notification , inviting eligible candidates to fill up Stenographer
(Grade 'C' and 'D') positions through All India Open Competitive
Examination.

Total posts:
Name of the posts: 1064
Stenographer Grade 'C': 50
Stenographer Grade 'D': 1014
Eligibility criteria
Educational qualification:
The candidates applying for the job must have passed Standard 12 or equivalent from a recognized board or university.
Age limit:
The age of the applicant applying for these posts must not proceed 27 years and must be minimum 18 years. Relaxation in age would be provided as per the rules.
Selection procedure
An interview/test would be conducted to shortlist the candidates.

Application fee: Rs 100
Women candidates are exempted to pay the application fee and the candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD/Ex-Servicemen are eligible for reservation as per the government rules.
